Wedding Photography/How it works
Step 1 - Contact us: To begin the process, take a moment to fill out the form below or feel free to reach out to Cherie personally on 0418431064.
Step 2 - Initial Meeting: I usually invite couples into my Rutherford studio so that they can have a look at some of the weddings I have photographed
Step 3 - Lock in your wedding day, A 30% deposit is required: Once you have decided to book with Cherie you will be required to pay the deposit to secure your booking.
Step 4 - The In-between time: Between when you book with Cherie and your Wedding Day (this can sometimes be a year or longer), Cherie checks in about every 3 months just to make sure there is nothing she can help with. Cherie is always available if you have any questions or if you would like to run anything by her. Cherie also visits any locations that you have chosen for your Wedding Day, preparation is key!!
Step 5 - The Engagement Session: Cherie offers all of her clients a complimentary engagement session and 8x12 inch matted print. This allows for you and Cherie to spend some time getting to know each other and also it is often the first time that couples have had professional photographs taken. Cherie finds it an invaluable tool in helping couples to be relaxed and comfortable having their photos taken on their wedding day. A lot of couples choose to purchase some of the images from their Session either as a beautiful piece of Wall Art they can display on their Wedding day or a beautiful custom designed signage album to be treasured forever.
Step 6 - Your Wedding Day: Woohoo I can’t wait!! Cherie will arrive at the time agreed upon prior to the day and then capture every moment as your day unfolds. Cherie caries 3 Professional Cameras that have the ability to write to duel camera cards (just incase) as well as multiple interchangeable lenses, charged batteries , spare camera cards and both on camera and off camera lighting solutions.
Step 7 - Sneak Peak: While downloading the camera cards Cherie prepares a small selection of images and with your permission she shares them to her Facebook and Instagram business pages. Couples love this, it means that the first images that are released to their family and friends are a beautiful overview of their day.
Step 8 - Pick up/delivery of your finished images, albums and wallart: Once your order is ready, you will receive a call from Cherie and a time will be organised for you to collect your cherished images and beautifully finished artwork to proudly display in your home or gift to loved ones.

Wow, is all I can say after receiving our wedding photos back! They are just stunning and so much better than what I could ever have hoped for or expected! Cherie had captured not only us and our guests, but scenery and moments in the day I didn’t even realized had happened! Cherie has been amazing right from our initial consultation, wether it was a crazy question or sending through a photo idea that I had found she was always on the end of the phoneor email to put my mind at ease or workshop ideas for our big day. On the day she arrived on time, unflustered and calmly got to workin taking not only ‘posed’ shots but snapping other antics of the day which I had no idea she had captured….some of these more candid shots are my absolute favourites.
Cherie worked with us throughout the day without any fuss and almost inconspicuous for myself and our guests. I would like to thank Cherie from the bottom of our hearts for not only being so lovely and becoming a friend but for the most amazing job you did capturing our special day.
